Purpose Ensure all students, parents, carers and staff can access our services without discrimination or unnecessary barriers. Comply with all relevant equality and accessibility legislation applicable in England and Wales. Make reasonable adjustments to teaching, materials, communications and physical environments to meet individual needs. - 02As a Tutor working for Our Future Tutoring Services Limited, If your tuition is cancelled or your student does not show up for tuition (No Show), you must or any adhoc duties which may arise. If for any reason another member of staff (Tutor) is unwell or unable to attend their tutoring session, and you are in the office due to your tuition being cancelled, we may ask you to cover their tuition in their absence as long as it does not interfere with your next tuition – Please see Cancellation Procedures. Please note in the absence of the Head Tutor or Deputy Head, the admin team have the authority to ask you to cover a tuition. Read more...
- 03Issuance of Certificates 1.1 Open Awards will issue certificates within 20 working days of receiving verified results. 1.2 Certificates will be sent electronically to OFT. Verification and Notification 2.1 Our Future Tutoring will check certificates and notify Open Awards of any discrepancies within 5 working days. 2.2 Once we have checked that all certificates are present and correct, we will confirm receipt within 10 working days via the Secure Portal. - 04Our Future Tutoring (OFT) will identify the qualifications requiring controlled assessments and invigilation, as outlined in awarding-body qualification specifications. This policy applies to all OFT-delivered qualification programmes where invigilation is required. We are continually working to achieve this high level of service by maintaining quality assurance standards which are compliant with regulatory requirements. It is our aim to ensure that all assessment outcomes are fair, consistent, and reliable based on the valid judgements of the assessor using the assessment strategy for the qualification in question. - 07Introduction The vision of Our Future Tutoring Services Ltd (OFT) is to be recognized as an outstanding Tutoring Provider, leading the staff force through innovative tutoring solutions and focusing on achieving the best outcomes for our students in a safe, caring, and inspiring environment. The success of this vision depends on every member of staff. There is substantial evidence that effective Performance Reviews and staff development contribute positively to student outcomes. Performance Reviews ensure that managers fairly and equitably review the performance (both good and bad) of their employees. These reviews confirm that employees are delivering high-quality tuition to students, are competent in their roles, and treat colleagues with dignity and respect. Performance Reviews also provide employees with the opportunity to provide feedback on concerns and areas for potential development to their managers, ensuring positive outcomes. Performance Reviews are not a one-off event but an ongoing process throughout the employment contract. - 08Introduction & Purpose This policy ensures that all learners, staff, assessors, and ATCs understand their responsibilities, the definitions of plagiarism and academic misconduct, the sanctions applied, and how investigations are conducted safely, lawfully, and transparently. OFT is committed to ensuring that all learner assessment evidence is authentic, independently produced, and meets the academic integrity standards required by awarding organisations and regulators. Our approach is aligned to: Ofqual General Conditions, including Condition A8 (malpractice) and sections governing setting and delivering assessments. JCQ “Suspected Malpractice Policies and Procedures” (2025–26) guidance on plagiarism, contract cheating, AI misuse, and assessor authentication duties. DfE and KCSIE 2025 statutory safeguarding requirements, especially online‑safety obligations relating to misinformation, disinformation, false content, and generative AI risks. - 10Purpose & Scope This SEND Information Report sets out how Our Future Tutoring Services Ltd (OFT) identifies, assesses, plans for and supports children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). It is published in accordance with the SEND Code of Practice (2015) and the Children and Families Act 2014, and is reviewed annually. 1. How does OFT identify students with SEND? OFT uses a graduated approach (Assess–Plan–Do–Review) to identify SEND from the very first point of contact. Information is gathered at referral and onboarding to build a full picture of each student’s needs. Specifically, we: Collect information at referral/onboarding, including any Education, Health and Care (EHC) Plans or school SEN Support records shared by parents, carers or the referring Local Authority. Assess each student’s skills and attainment levels upon entry, building on prior education records provided by the school or Local Authority. Conduct regular progress assessments led by senior management and tutors to flag any student who is progressing significantly slower than their peers, failing to meet previous milestones, or experiencing a widening attainment gap. Carry out an individual assessment where concerns are raised, to determine the level and type of support required.
