- 02As a Tutor working for Our Future Tutoring Services Limited, If your tuition is cancelled or your student does not show up for tuition (No Show), you must or any adhoc duties which may arise. If for any reason another member of staff (Tutor) is unwell or unable to attend their tutoring session, and you are in the office due to your tuition being cancelled, we may ask you to cover their tuition in their absence as long as it does not interfere with your next tuition – Please see Cancellation Procedures. Please note in the absence of the Head Tutor or Deputy Head, the admin team have the authority to ask you to cover a tuition. Read more...
- 03Issuance of Certificates 1.1 Open Awards will issue certificates within 20 working days of receiving verified results. 1.2 Certificates will be sent electronically to OFT. Verification and Notification 2.1 Our Future Tutoring will check certificates and notify Open Awards of any discrepancies within 5 working days. 2.2 Once we have checked that all certificates are present and correct, we will confirm receipt within 10 working days via the Secure Portal. This policy applies to all OFT-delivered qualification programmes where invigilation is required. The success of this vision depends on every member of staff. There is substantial evidence that effective Performance Reviews and staff development contribute positively to student outcomes. Performance Reviews ensure that managers fairly and equitably review the performance (both good and bad) of their employees. These reviews confirm that employees are delivering high-quality tuition to students, are competent in their roles, and treat colleagues with dignity and respect. Performance Reviews also provide employees with the opportunity to provide feedback on concerns and areas for potential development to their managers, ensuring positive outcomes. Performance Reviews are not a one-off event but an ongoing process throughout the employment contract. - 08Introduction & Purpose This policy ensures that all learners, staff, assessors, and ATCs understand their responsibilities, the definitions of plagiarism and academic misconduct, the sanctions applied, and how investigations are conducted safely, lawfully, and transparently. OFT is committed to ensuring that all learner assessment evidence is authentic, independently produced, and meets the academic integrity standards required by awarding organisations and regulators. Our approach is aligned to: Ofqual General Conditions, including Condition A8 (malpractice) and sections governing setting and delivering assessments. JCQ “Suspected Malpractice Policies and Procedures” (2025–26) guidance on plagiarism, contract cheating, AI misuse, and assessor authentication duties. DfE and KCSIE 2025 statutory safeguarding requirements, especially online‑safety obligations relating to misinformation, disinformation, false content, and generative AI risks. - 09The quality assurance cycle assures the integrity of the assessment and reporting of student achievement against the performance standards for a qualification. The interpretation and application of the performance standards is confirmed by a moderation process as part of the quality assurance cycle, ensuring students have fair, valid, and reliable results. There are four stages in the quality assurance cycle: planning, clarifying, confirming, and improving. - 10Purpose & Scope This policy sets out OFT’s approach to identifying, supporting and making reasonable adjustments for children and young people (CYP) with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) who use our tuition services, and for our staff and workers who have disabilities or long-term health conditions. The policy applies to all delivery (in person and online) across England. Our SEND Policy and Information Report aims to: ✔ Outline how Our Future Tutoring Services Ltd (OFT) will support and provide for students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). ✔ Define the roles and responsibilities of all individuals involved in delivering support for students with SEND. ✔ Ensure that all students receive equal opportunities, with tailored support to enable them to reach their full potential. OFT values all students equally, recognizing and embracing diverse abilities and behaviours.
