At Our Future Tutoring (OFT), we believe every young person deserves the opportunity to build a future filled with confidence, independence, and purpose. Born from a genuine passion to support young people who face barriers to mainstream education, our work is guided by one simple idea: education should meet every young person where they are.
Our mission is to equip our young people with the skills, confidence, and resilience they need to succeed not just in school, but in life.
We know that people are individuals. Every young person comes with a unique story, pace, and set of strengths. That’s why our tutors take time to understand each learner as an individual. We find out what motivates them, what challenges them, and what helps them thrive. Lessons are tailored to suit each person’s learning style, guided by the national curriculum but flexible enough to bring out their best.

From one-to-one sessions to small group learning, our tutors work closely with local authorities, schools, and families to create an environment where our young people feel safe, valued, and understood. All our staff members are DBS-checked and chosen not just for their expertise, but also for their passion to make a real difference.
We also offer a range of specialist services to meet the evolving needs of young people and the professionals who support them. This includes our OFT Exam Centre, where young people, including those outside mainstream education and adults can sit Functional Skills and other recognised examinations in a calm, supportive, accredited environment. Our exam provision is designed to remove barriers and give learners the chance to gain real, usable qualifications that open doors.

As our CEO Kareena Taylor says, ‘Our Future Tutoring is more than a place to learn it’s a space where young people discover their potential, overcome challenges, and gain the confidence to take control of their future. With the right support, encouragement, and guidance, every young person can step into adulthood with the self-belief and independence they deserve.’
Our approach goes beyond academic achievement. We believe education should prepare young people for life itself, helping them gain the practical skills and confidence they’ll need long after the lessons end. Our LifeSkills programme supports young people through essential abilities such as budgeting, communication, problem-solving, and time management.
At our purpose-built LifeSkills Centre, our young people are encouraged to apply these skills in real-world scenarios, building independence and resilience in the process.
Every success story at OFT, whether it’s a small step forward or a breakthrough, is celebrated.
Because progress isn’t only measured in grades — it’s reflected in growing confidence, renewed motivation, and the spark of self-belief.
Our partnerships with local authorities, schools, and families help ensure that every young
person feels supported from every angle. Together, we’re creating a space where education is not a privilege, but a bridge to opportunity.
Whether through tutoring, the LifeSkills Centre, our Exam Centre, or the wider programmes
we continue to develop, Our Future Tutoring is driven by a clear purpose: to make education
accessible, meaningful, and life-changing for all our young people.
We’re proud to see the difference our tutors and programmes are already making.
